The Foundation is a vehicle for giving and is open for public donations. Villawood has supported hundreds of local community groups around its estates across Victoria, New South Wales, Queensland and now South Australia over many years.
We are committed to making a positive impact in our communities, and your support can help us achieve even greater results.

We have long championed the Royal Childrens’ Hospital Good Friday Appeal, donating land and helping arrange its annual Charity Home Auction with Henley Homes, raising over $11 million over the past 15 years. We also assist with Brisbane’s House for Life, raising vital funds for the Little Mater Miracles neo-natal care.
These auctions see hundreds of tradies, suppliers and volunteers come together to donate skills, materials and time to build, fit out and market the charity homes. Auction day is always an exciting affair with a giant family street carnival providing a colourful event for crowds of up to a thousand people.
Villawood has assisted community groups and causes both large and small. These include football, netball, athletics, cricket, special needs, netball, men’s sheds, family services, fire brigades, triathlons, schools, service clubs, rugby, basketball, swimming, surf lifesaving, festivals and many more groups and causes.
Villawood Properties is very proud to have provided vital support to more than 300 community groups and causes over the past 30 years. Many of these might otherwise have failed to attract corporate support.
The Villawood Foundation’s board members comprise Villawood executive directors Rory Costelloe and Tony Johnson and CFO Dean Pappas, Michael Hirst, former CEO of the Bendigo Bank, and Louise Hickman, of Ipsum Advisors.
Says Rory: “As companies grow, their responsibility to provide back to the community becomes more important.
“We created the Foundation as an umbrella brand to make the donations through so that our communities fully appreciate that Villawood is all about building and supporting healthy communities.”
