The Arbour Burleigh by Villawood Properties is one of the last developable pieces of land in Burleigh Heads.

Buyers can now register their interest in a new residential community to be built in southern coastal hotspot Burleigh Heads.

With DA approvals now in place, Villawood Properties will launch The Arbour Burleigh in the coming weeks. The developer purchased the parcel of land – one of the last developable pockets remaining in Burleigh – off racing identity and developer Les Cowell for $10m.

The site was acquired in 2019 for $10m.

The site was acquired in December 2019 and went unconditional in April 2020 before finally settling in December.

With all the necessary approvals attained last week, it’s now full-steam ahead for the Villawood project located on a 20.75-ha elevated site in central Burleigh.

The new boutique community will comprise 61 lots, measuring 600sq m to 3000sq m, along with five ‘master lots’.

The Arbour will comprise 61 lots and five master lots.

Villawood Properties’ state development manager Michael Williams said vacant land transactions in Burleigh Heads had been low, with only about 60 transacting over the past 10 years.

Mr Williams said that The Arbour was a rare opportunity for people to build large, architecturally-inspired homes in a secluded enclave in one of the Coast’s most sought-after suburbs.

The masterplanned community will be a short drive from Burleighs’s famous beaches.

“Residents won’t have to compromise on space to have connectivity to all the bells and whistles that Burleigh Heads has to offer. They can enjoy the privilege of wide open spaces and green vistas with proximity to Tallebudgera Creek, world-class beaches, national parks, and the top-notch entertainment, restaurants and bars the suburb provides,” he said.

Mr Williams said he expected the project would attract interest from buyers looking to upgrade their homes and lifestyle.

“The size of the lots and the style of the homes make it ideal for growing families and professionals while the central Burleigh Heads location gives The Arbour considerable appeal to a cross-section of buyers.”

The Arbour Burleigh is being launched off the back of the near sell-out of Villawood’s master-planned community at Helensvale, The Surrounds. With five of six lots launched last weekend sold, only 30 remain in the entire master-planned project.

Sequana at Logan Reserve and the Montego Hills development, Kingsholme, are also part of Villawood’s portfolio.
