Andrews Farm Community Update

Hear from our valued sponsorship recipients

At Villawood Properties, it’s about life. We’re committed to delivering communities that bring people together, where you can make the most of green open spaces and beautifully designed streetscapes. As part of this, we’re proud to be supporting local groups and residents as part of our annual community grants program.

Keep reading to hear from the three community groups that we’re proud to be sponsoring this year.

Andrews Farm Soccer Club

The Andrews Farm Soccer and Community Club, established in 2009, is a family-friendly, grassroots club dedicated to developing players of all ages and abilities. Their focus is on creating an inclusive environment where everyone—from young children to seniors—can enjoy the game, build friendships, and strengthen community spirit.

In August 2025, the soccer club proudly opened brand-new clubroom facilities at Kalara Reserve. These facilities create even more opportunities for the community to get involved—whether by joining one of their many junior or senior teams, volunteering time, or supporting the wide range of events they host throughout the season.

Andrews Farm Soccer Club recently hosted a Sponsors Day at their new clubrooms at Kalara reserve. It was a great opportunity to showcase their new premises and celebrate the club’s ongoing success.

“The Villawood grant provides a significant boost for our club, allowing us to invest in vital training and game-day equipment, as well as coaching programs that directly support the development of our junior players. Importantly, this funding also strengthens our efforts to introduce female teams in the 2026 season, further expanding opportunities for participation within our community. With this support, we are well-positioned to continue thriving as the first-choice club in the northern suburbs.”

Andrews Farm Cricket Club

Established in the 2022/23 season by a few family members as a place to play cricket together, the Andrews Farm Cricket Club was started with just a single senior men’s team. It has since rapidly expanded to two men’s teams and a dedicated women’s team within the first few years of existence!

The cricket club is a young, ambitious group committed to creating a welcoming, fun, and inclusive home for cricketers in the local community. Whether you’re interested in playing some cricket or just want to cheer from the sidelines, there’s a place for you to get involved!

“We are incredibly grateful for the continued support of Villawood, our very first sponsors. When we were just starting out with a single team, their belief in our vision gave us the foundation we needed to build this club. It directly helps us maintain our facilities and provide a welcoming place for our community to enjoy cricket.”

Munno Para Little Athletics Club

Munno Para Athletics is proud to be the oldest Athletics Club in South Australia, formed back in 1970. Open to all ages and abilities, Munno Para Little Athletics take pride in providing a fun, family orientated environment where community spirit is evident and everyone feels they belong. Whether you’re a total beginner or a seasoned runner, they offer a supportive and friendly environment for training, completion, and personal growth.

Munno Para Little Athletics Club is hosting a Come & Try Day in mid-September, where they will be promoting their new name “Munno Para Athletics Centre” – dropping the “Little” part of their name to be able to incorporate suitable programs for older athletes.

“We are incredibly grateful to Villawood Properties for their generous grant, which has enabled us to purchase brand-new uniforms proudly displaying our updated name. As a nonprofit organisation, this support means the world to us. The grant has made a significant difference as we gear up for the start of another exciting athletics season. Thank you, Villawood Properties, for helping us move forward with pride and unity!”
