Our History

The Villawood story began in 1989, with a 30-lot sub-division in Bendigo.  A syndicate of 16 friends and associates pooled their funds, knowledge and resources to deliver the cul-de-sac named Eaglehawke.

How we started

Villawood’s expertise has grown extensively since its first development, but we still approach each relationship, partnership or joint venture with the same level of respect, passion and camaraderie.

Following five further successful Bendigo projects in its first decade, Villawood made its first major expansion into Metropolitan Melbourne in 1999. To date, Villawood boasts a portfolio of over 60 completed residential projects.

Today, Villawood Properties predominately concentrates on large scale masterplanned communities which incorporate a combination of mixed-use town centres, residents’ clubs, educational facilities, large display villages and the creation of high quality parks and open spaces.

Over thirty years, Villawood has grown to become one of the most trusted residential land developers in Australia, with a legacy innovative, community-focused developments spanning the Eastern Seaboard.
