We are proud and delighted to relay that our beautiful hillside Wandana community has won the prestigious Residential Development Under 250 Lots Award at this year’s UDIA Victoria Excellence Awards.

The 202-lot Wandana enjoys extraordinary views across Geelong, Corio Bay and the Bellarine Peninsula, as well as sprawling outlooks to the Surf Coast, Southern Ocean and rolling hills.

Villawood worked to a ‘Life at its Peak’ theme at Wandana, utilising its hillside nature with street contours that capture and share the extraordinary views. Wandana also features loads of attractive open space, a new playground, remarkable terraced wetlands and pathways that all celebrate the site’s unique position.

The UDIA excellence award recognised Wandana’s urban form, its community, environmental sustainability, innovation and unique features as well as its planning, problem-solving and healthy design.

Extensive street plantings, diverse lot sizes, park-front lots, a strong sense of community, historical links and custom-build opportunities also contributed to the sold-out Wandana’s success.

On top of all that, there are also some seriously innovative water management systems that address run-off, stormwater and treatment issues with smart, creative technologies setting new benchmarks for the industry.

We’re delighted with the UDIA’s recognition – the highest industry acknowledgement there is – and we’re sure everyone who purchased at Wandana will be similarly proud.
