Villawood Properties’ 2026 Good Friday Appeal Auction Home

Villawood Properties’ stunning 2026 Good Friday Appeal home is about to go to auction with hopes high it can raise more than $1million for the world-class care provided by The Royal Children’s Hospital.

The auction, at Villawood’s Alamora community in Melbourne, follows the same formula as The Good Home auction which raised $973K for The SA Kids Appeal at our South Australian Oakden Rise community in November last year.

Now in its 17th year, the annual Good Friday house auction has raised more than $12.7 million for the RCH to date.

This year’s home is a knockout – a fully-furnished 48-square, two-storey Lancaster 440-D47 with Monroe façade by Henley. It is sited on a 448sqm lot valued at $480K that’s been fully landscaped and sits just a stone’s throw from Villawood’s brand-new resort-style Club Alamora.

Like The Good Home, everything attached to the auction home has been donated; the land, the materials, tradie skills and time, furnishings, marketing … the lot. A veritable small army of volunteers has brought the home from concept to reality and a large family fair to be staged on auction day is expected to draw hundreds more.

Tens of thousands again will be able to follow the auction action and excitement as part of Seven TV Network’s GFA telethon.

The auction home is financed through Villawood’s philanthropy arm, the Villawood Foundation, and an important part of our commitment to community causes large and small.

So, stay tuned as this wonderful example community unfolds. We’re hoping for a great result!
