Villawood expands in to Lara

THE first new house blocks in the Lara West growth area are expected to go on sale this year after developers revealed plans for new estates.

Villawood Properties announced on Friday plans for an 1179-home community after it had acquired farm properties with a combined 89ha on O’Hallorans Rd, immediately north of Patullos Rd.

The Villawood estate, which will be the company’s third under simultaneous construction including Armstrong at Mt Duneed and Wandana, will make up around 20 per cent of the Lara West growth area’s projected 6000 homes.
