Meet Aaron James. He’s one very happy new home buyer right now.

He’s also the 300th purchaser of Villawood’s architect-designed suite of small homes, VillaRange.

Aaron signed on for a sleek 2BR two-storey VillaRange Pitch townhome, at Lara’s Coridale, complete with knockout 5.7m raked cathedral ceiling, balcony overlooking the You Yangs, two bathrooms, light-filled open living and located with Coridale’s central park directly opposite.

And all for less than $500K. No wonder he’s smiling. It’s not just the hamper we threw in to celebrate his 300 status.

Aaron’s land titles at the end of this month and he’s looking to be comfortably ensconced in his new home by quarter two next year.

Originally from Charlton in Victoria’s northwest, Aaron moved to Geelong with his family as a teen. He studied hospitality and management, working in local waterfront hotels and overseas before moving to the corrections sector during the pandemic.

He’s been living on the Bellarine Peninsula more recently and looking forward to family, including his young nieces, visiting his new Coridale digs.

What sold him on VillaRange?

“Definitely the high ceilings,” he says. “And two bedrooms – they’re a decent size, one upstairs, one down – two bathrooms  and the open plan, that’s what I liked about it.

“It came up on Facebook, houses under $500K. It sounded good. I had a look at a few by others, three-bedroom houses, but the rooms were a little bit smaller and seeing there’s only me, two was good.

“I thought the style and design of VillaRange’s Pitch looked really good. It was really open for a two-bedroom.

“I got the one with the balcony and I’m fortunate enough that I’ll be looking out the You Yangs. No houses in front, that was another telling factor.

“I’m opposite the park so that will be great for when the nieces come visit. I’ve told them there’s a swimming pool just down the road, they like the idea so they’ll be coming for a swim.

“I’m looking forward to using the club, too. I’ll be getting back into fitness and saving money by not having a gym membership. Having the gym facilities here is great. You can meet friends here and have a coffee as well.”
