Urban Futures 2020 Photo Competition - Entries Open
Do you have an eye for special sights and moments in your neighbourhood?…
We’re talking about capturing the urban form, the place where you live. It might be a park, a playground, maybe trees or plantings. Perhaps something dynamic, the movement of leaves rustling in the wind, dogs dragging their owners out for a walk, even an artistic pattern on the alfresco latte at your local café.
If you’re a Year 10, 11 or 12 student and can capture a great image of your place, where you live, and what it is that makes your place in the urban space special, you could win yourself $300 – and a work experience gig with a planner at award-winning Villawood Properties.
RMIT University’s Centre for Urban Research, together with Villawood, is staging its 2020 Urban Futures Photo Competition right now.
If you’re keen on photography, if you’ve ever thought designing communities might make a career – even if you’ve never thought it – here’s a chance for some cash and a real eye-opening experience.
