They Came for the Air Con, Left with a Block
Sanika and Aaron are happily planning their upcoming wedding and looking forward to celebrating with family and friends. And that’s not the only exciting thing that’s happened in the lead-up to the big day.
“Our good friends had been looking for a property and they had just finalised the paperwork on a property themselves,” they said. “They knew that when we got married, we would be looking for a new place to live.
“We were just chatting casually when they suggested to come to Tarneit and have a look at some of the available land.
“It was one of those really hot days and as we drove past Villawood’s Alamora sales office, we thought ‘Why not pop in and cool off for a while?’
While the four were inside, they looked at lots for sale and home designs on offer. They went to lunch and returned later. After talking with estate manager Sree Datti, they felt like they’d hit the jackpot.
“There was no way we’d been planning to put down a deposit,” Sanika and Aaron said. “We were just exploring the area and having a chat about some options but this opportunity was just so impressive.
“Our friends were really impressed as well and they encouraged us to go for it. They even said they wished they’d purchased in Alamora instead of where they had just purchased.
“We wanted north or north-eastern facing and there were only three or four properties left that fit the criteria. Sree knew everything about Alamora and the surrounding area and she was really warm and genuine, which helped to nudge our decision.
“The community has an amazing Residents’ Club, there are good schools nearby and there’s also the new Tarneit railway station. We also loved the fact there was a lot available near the entrance to the community in a street with other double-story properties.
“We’d always wanted a double-storey home where we could grow a family. The lot we chose is quite large but the purchase price was very reasonable. It’s exactly what we want. It’ s a bigger block than we originally planned. We plan to grow into it and make it our forever home.
“With our wedding coming up, buying at Alamora seemed to be the natural progression. We’re so excited about the future and we can’t wait to start married life.”
And with their friends living only 10 minutes away, they’ll be able to hang out all the time.
