The Good Home Auction — A Heartfelt Success
The highlight of the Oakden Rise Grand Opening was undoubtedly the auction of The Good Home — a stunning, purpose-built charity home designed and delivered with one goal in mind: to make a difference in the lives of children and families across South Australia.
Proudly donated by Villawood Properties and Weeks Homes, the home was built in partnership with some of South Australia’s leading trades and suppliers, The Good Home represents the best of what can be achieved when an entire community comes together for a greater cause. Every brick, fixture and finish was generously donated or discounted, demonstrating an incredible spirit of collaboration and care.
We’re thrilled to share that The Good Home sold for an outstanding $973,000, with 100% of proceeds donated directly to The Advertiser Foundation Kids’ Appeal. This contribution will help provide vital support and services to children living with illness, disability and disadvantage — and their families — across South Australia.
