Sign of Olympic Celebration at The Arbour
Villawood Properties is getting into the Olympic spirit erecting a giant corten steel sign of celebration visible from the Pacific Motorway at Burleigh giving a patriotic nod of approval to Brisbane’s recent success in securing the 2032 Olympics.
The uplifting sign of support, which is also celebrating the current Australian Olympic and Paralympic teams, towers at 2.5 metres reading ‘GO AUSSIES’ and will remain in place until the conclusion of the Olympic season.
Villawood Properties executive director Tony Johnson said the state’s successful Olympic bid signals an exciting time for all Gold Coasters and Villawood is proud to create further anticipation and excitement surrounding the achievement.
“The Olympic spirit is defined by an unprecedented level of determination and dedication that can inspire every one of us to not only do our best at whatever we turn our hand to in life but to actively support and celebrate our community and our country as a whole,” says Mr Johnson.
The sign is located on the southern side of The Arbour at Burleigh Heads.
