Thank you for supporting Heartkids
On Sunday 29th October Villawood’s Redstone hosted the Heartkids ‘Two Feet & a Heartbeat’ walk to raise funds and awareness of this wonderful charity.
Walkers and visitors arrived at the recently opened Northvale Park at Redstone and enjoyed the local market, petting zoo some complimentary coffee before starting the walk.
Walkers were led by Heartkid ambassador Max and his family to the top of Redstone Hill. Thanks to the glorious sunny day, walkers were rewarded with views as far as the eye can see on the hilltop. This was the first time Redstone has opened up the hilltop to the public; we were delighted that it was for such a wonderful cause.
Returning from their hilltop trek, walkers and visitors stayed on for the complimentary sausage sizzle by Rupertswood Football Club. It was great to see so many visitors and residents enjoying the new playground and treating themselves to the market and food stalls.
Thank you to the Redstone and Sunbury communities, the Heartkids and their families, the builders, community clubs and stall holders for a wonderful day at Redstone.
