Do you have a name suggestion for our bridge?
A gateway to welcome Kimberley residents home.
One of the most significant infrastructure projects in Sunbury in recent years, pre-works have begun on the over-rail bridge between Balbethan Drive and Kimberley. The project will see an upgrade to Balbethan Drive as well as the Lancefield Road intersection, with temporary trainline closures occurring as construction ramps up.
Perched on the plateau above Sunbury’s escarpment, Kimberley overlooks Jackson’s Creek and Emu Bottom. The bridge’s design pays homage to the region’s natural beauty, with intricate perforated lines echoing the contours of Jackson’s Creek. Dedicated walking and cycling paths connect to the 1000ha Jackson’s Creek biik wurrdha Regional Parklands.
We have an exciting opportunity where you can be apart of Kimberley’s history*. Get your creativity flowing and submit your name ideas for the new bridge in Kimberley. Email your suggestions to kimberley@villawoodproperties.com.
