CONSTRUCTION GETS UNDER WAY AT OAKDEN RISE
Civil construction works are under way at Adelaide’s ground-breaking Oakden Rise residential housing project by developer Villawood Properties.
The first stage work-start coincides with the release of stage 2 lots at the keenly-anticipated community, with a display village under way as well.
The 1500-lot Oakden Rise, just nine kilometres from the Adelaide CBD, will feature a new level of urban design and lot options, with a resort-style residents’ club, green open spaces and parklands, playgrounds, walking trails and leafy streets.
With fresh Best Residential and Great Place excellence awards from the Urban Development Institute of Australia under its belt, Villawood is driving a powerful market campaign at Oakden Rise highlighting the same features that secured these industry-leading gongs.
Sharp urban design, a highly-resourced community focus, strong landscaping, environmental and sustainability credentials are par. Added to them are high-end architect-designed affordable homes, parkfront offerings, hill views and full amenities otherwise unmatchable so close to the CBD.
A care worker support program with $5K savings, block-for-block donations to biodiverse forest reserves and grants for community groups add further depth to Villawood’s commitment at Oakden.
Villawood’s South Australia campaign has seen the launch of three projects to date: Oakden Rise, 700-lot St Andrews and 1700-lot William Lakes at Gawler in Adelaide’s north. A further 700 lots are about to hit the market with its Seacliff Village project – a partnership with the Gasparin and Brazzale groups.
Oakden Rise has fielded a broad range of buyers looking to buy land for their dream home, reflecting the diversity of the project’s lot options.
Similarly, it’s seen a rapid uptake of its VillaRange affordable homes – a fixed-price, architect-designed suite of separate-title small homes already disrupting the market in Villawood’s eastern state communities.
One of the strongest drawcards at Oakden is its Club Oakden Rise, a new concept to South Australia, and one which won Villawood its Great Place award in Victoria’s Rathdowne community.
The club will feature a gymnasium, lap and outdoor swimming pools, splash deck, parent and function spaces, and a boutique café.
Oakden Rise’s stage 2 lot release will feature lots facing a master-planned reserve with meticulous landscaping, a large grass kick-about space, playground, and barbecue/ picnic area.
An ornamental water feature, walking and cycling trails, all part of a wider open space network through the project, will provide everyday nature benefits as well.
