OAM for Enviro Advisor Brendan Condon

Brendan Condon, OAM, with Villawood’s Rory Costelloe
Villawood congratulations to Brendan Condon on his Order of Australia Medal recognition in this year’s King’s Birthday Honours List.
Brendan is a sustainable developer par excellence who has collaborated with Villawood for many years, including on several award-winning projects.
Brendan’s many enterprises, under the umbrella of his indigenous plant nursery Australia Ecosystems, have helped government, industry and community biodiversity and liveability for more than two decades.
Projects such as Biofilta, Melbourne Skyfarm, his magnum opus, The Cape, together with his Australian Ecosystems have garnered numerous national, state and regional awards for sustainability, design, energy efficiency and industry leadership.
Villawood has been proud to be associated with Brendan on projects including the Delaray wetlands, Aquarevo’s ground-breaking renewable community, Wandana’s stormwater systems – all UDIA award-winning communities.
He has collaborated with Villawood and others in thermal housing roadshows to government, industry and community. He has designed and manufactured pop-up farms for water-stressed and climate-stressed indigenous communities in Australia and in the Pacific.
His capabilities provide the means for real sustainability across multiple platforms: zero-emission housing, clean energy and water security, environment and biodiversity, food resources, physical and mental well-being, community engagement and growth, education and even employment.
