All happening at Club Alamora!
The architects of an $8 million resort club to be constructed within a Tarneit estate say they hope the site will become a “cycle of life” social hub.
Construction of Club Alamora, which will be built within the 2000-lot Alamora community on Sayers Road, is set to begin later this year.
Designed by ClarkeHopkinsClarke (CHC), the club will feature a heated outdoor pool, gym, multi-sport courts, family and function spaces, a boutique café, community gardens and barbecue facilities.
CHC partner Jordan Curran said the club has been created with families in mind.
“As a child, as kids grow up, there are all these different areas they can start to engage and interact with so that cycle of life could really happen within Club Alamora,” Mr Curran said.
“We’ve provided a café for not just the internal community to engage but to catch up with friends and family and neighbours as well – so it’s very much a place for the whole community to enjoy.”
The Alamora estate, which was launched in February 2021, is developer Villawood’s eighth project within Wyndham.
Villawood chief executive Alan Miller said Club Alamora would serve as a meeting point for new residents.
“We have people who come to live here from all different suburbs,” he said.
“They don’t know who their neighbours are going to be. They want to meet new people and make new friends.
“We try to provide them with a melting pot of activity.”
“The other thing that stems out of this place is new groups.
“We have swimming groups, playgroups, reading groups or book groups, gardening groups.
