Gearing up at Coridale for the Next Good Friday Appeal Home Auction

Geelong will once again host the Good Friday Appeal Home Auction for The Royal Children’s Hospital, with another record result in its sights.
The house, by Henley at Villawood Properties’ Coridale community in Lara, will be the fourth GFA auction home in Geelong after posting a $1.15million record in Armstrong in 2025 and $1.01million at Coridale in 2023.
An earlier outing at Armstrong, in 2017, fetched $627,500, bringing the auction house total raised in Geelong for the RCH to $2.787million.
In its 17 years with the GFA auction home, Villawood’s contribution to the house-land auction has raised a total $13.88 million for The Royal Children’s.
Two young Royal Children’s Hospital patients, Emily, 12 and Maddie, 9, opened a symbolic door to the 2027 Good Friday Appeal House at Villawood Properties’ Coridale community in Lara with Villawood’s Rory Costelloe, Henley’s Tindi Sorbera and site supervisor Dwayne Brown.
Sited on a $398K premium lot at Coridale, the 2027 GFA home will be a Henley Halcyon 389-D42 5BR 41sq double-storey spectacular with a theatre room, leisure room, open-plan living area, study, entertainer’s kitchen and alfresco.
Villawood’s Coridale boasts multiple high-end features including Club Coridale with its gym, pool, wet deck, café, family and function facilities as well as an adventure park, future retail and community centre, landscaped reserves, district sports ground, future retail and community centre.
The auction will be conducted Friday 26 March 2027.
