The Villawood Foundation is proud to sponsor Foodbank Victoria and its remarkable work servicing charities that provide food to 65,000 people a day. On Friday, our Melbourne team visited Foodbank to pack over 13,500 kilos of food, and the equivalent of 27,054 meals for people in need.

Foundation ambassador Jacqui Felgate and foundation chair Mike Hirst joined our Erin, Kevin, Rory, Kyle, Harry, Mary, Eilish, Myra, Veronica, Jennifer, Justin, Charlotte and Anthony to help out prior to Foodbank kicking off its vital Emergency Food Drive on Wednesday 24th July.

With winter here in earnest, Foodbank Vic is running dangerously low on food. It urgently needs help. Key items it wants are tuna, pasta, rice, canned veggies, canned fruit, pasta sauce, UHT milk and cereal.

If you can help, you can drop food off at Foodbank Victoria’s warehouse door at 4/2 Somerville Road, Yarraville 3103.
