Jelena Dokic Shares Her Story With The Villawood Team Ahead of International Women's Day

Special thanks to tennis superstar Jelena Dokic who visited Villawood Properties this week to relate a remarkable story of overcoming adversity in a precursor to Friday’s International Women’s Day.

Jelena took us on a moving journey from childhood and fleeing her war-torn country to abuse by her father from a young age and mental health battles.
She highlighted the importance of self-belief, self-worth, being vulnerable to help others and of courage.

She spoke on shattering the myth of perfection and how, when reinventing herself after her tennis career, she discovered you can make mistakes and get back up again.
