What a night of festive cheer!

More than 10,000 people gathered along Murray Street on Saturday 29th November to officially welcome the festive season to Gawler.

As naming rights sponsors, the Villawood SA team and their families were proud to take part in and lead the 2025 Villawood Gawler Christmas Parade for the third year running.

Initially revived by Member for Light Tony Piccolo and a crew of helpful elves in 2023, the parade changed hands for this year’s edition and was generously organised by The Rotary Club of Gawler Light.

The Villawood SA team helped bring colour, fun and community spirit to the festivities as we led the parade with a bee-and-honey–themed float. Our team dressed in costume, shared Christmas cheer and handed out iconic Villawood merchandise to the crowd. Families, local groups, performers and community organisations all contributed to a lively night filled with entertainment, activities and festive magic.

It was a fantastic night for our SA team and their families, and a wonderful opportunity to spread the Villawood and William Lakes name while celebrating alongside the Gawler community. Thank you to everyone who joined us for another memorable parade.
