St Andrews sponsors the 2026 Variety Bash ‘Pivot to Pirie’ raising funds for Variety Children's Charity
This August, the St Andrews team are proud to sponsor Barbie Alliance Car 08 in the Variety Bash SA “Pivot to Pirie” (8–15 August). Driven by Antonio Pollifrone, the original land owner of St Andrews, the donation helps to raise funds for Variety SA Children’s Charity. Helping kids facing illness, disadvantage or disability gain independence, confidence and the chance to join in.

Each year, the Variety Bash features a colourful convoy of creatively themed cars and a route that takes entrants through some of Australia’s most stunning and remote landscapes, covering diverse terrains from outback tracks to coastal roads.

The true highlight for many participants is the opportunity to witness first-hand the impact of their fundraising. As they travel, they visit local communities and schools, delivering Variety Grants that change the lives of children in need.
Last week, the car was driven and parked at both St Andrews and the Villawood SA office for exposure and for the chance for the team to see the Villawood logo featured on the car itself.
We’re proud to support a cause so close to home, with someone who’s been part of our story from the very beginning.
