Special Announcement – Christmas in July!
Villawood Properties is thrilled to announce its role as the naming sponsor for the Gawler Christmas Parade this year. Back for a second year, the annual Villawood Gawler Community Christmas Parade promises to bring festive cheer and excitement to the streets of Gawler on Saturday, 30th November 2024.
Stuart Headland, General Manager of Villawood Properties SA, expressed the company’s pleasure in being the principal and naming rights sponsor. “The value of community that this event brings is so important as it not only contributes to growing a stronger community, it also aligns with our vision to deliver this through our Villawood communities,” said Mr. Headland.
The event, facilitated by local State Member for Light, Tony Piccolo MP, will keep families entertained throughout the evening. The Gawler Apex Club will host a twilight Christmas Market from 5pm to 9pm, leading up to the 7pm parade. “Following the parade, Apex Park will be the place to be,” Mr. Piccolo said. The night will culminate with the Rotary Club of Gawler Light turning on their Christmas lights display along the riverbank at 8:45 pm. The Gawler Apex Club President, Bronte Rhodes, highlighted the club’s pride in partnering with the Christmas Parade. “With over 60 market stalls and 10 local service club food stalls, the Parade attendees will be well catered for,” said Mr. Rhodes.
