Caring for the Carers, with $25K Rebate
Care workers, the backbone of our community, can find their forever home more easily thanks to Villawood’s generous Care Worker Support Program.
Hundreds of teachers, healthcare workers, emergency services workers, personal carers, childcare educators and others have joined the Villawood family via this award-winning scheme, presently offering a $25,000 helping hand.
Care workers working within 10km of a Villawood community, are eligible for the rebate on their block of land as Villawood’s way of recognising the work they do and the strength they bring to new communities.
To date, the Care Worker Support Program has assisted more than 500 care workers into their new homes at a cost of over $9.3 million.
The program is part of the Villawood ethos of giving back to the community. Care workers hold our society together in so many ways and this support program helps them while their presence in turn helps others in their neighbourhoods.
It’s about strengthening our Villawood communities and the broader communities where care workers work and another initiative of Villawood to support local families to gain access to homes in a market where it can be difficult to access.
