Following more than a decade of development, Villawood Properties is down to its final Armstrong Estate lots, with construction expected to be completed by November.

The developer has launched the final phase, Stage 70, of its 3000-lot community off the Surf Coast Highway at Mount Duneed, with only 40 lots remaining after a 14-year build.

Stage 70 is the final build phase of the project and wraps up works that began in 2012.

This final stage includes the construction of 27 townhouses, two laneways and a new shared footpath linking into the existing Bunjil’s Nest District Park.

A Villawood spokesman said there were only 40 lots left for sale across the entire estate.

“We’ve left the best to last,” he said.

“We’re excited to bring 27 townhouses to the market, including a range of our highly sought VillaRange product, which provides luxury features at an affordable price point in proximity to Bunjil’s Nest District Park, Club Armstrong, and Mt Duneed Village.”

He said the goal was to help people enter the housing market amid challenging conditions.

“While also delivering an outstanding outcome for the heart of the estate as we approach completion of the project,” he said.

Construction for Stage 70 begins on June 29 and is scheduled for completion in November 2026. Villawood said the plan was to develop the 27 townhouses with three builders: Soho, Nostra and Glenvill (VillaRange).
