Angels Amongst The Coridale Community
Angels Join the Ranks at Coridale.
Angel Next Door designer Aamir Qutub and wife Sarah have joined ranks with the rapidly-growing community calling Villawood’s new Coridale home.
The neighbourhood help app and website – angelnextdoor.com.au – was built by Aamir and Villawood to provide practical help to people isolated by COVID or other events. It’s gathered 10,000 registered Angels who carry out confidential hands-on aid with shopping, gardening, running errands, pick-ups and more.
Aamir and Sarah, who works as a nurse, agreed to a quick Q&A session about their Coridale purchase.
Q: What brought you to Coridale? What are the things you think it offers for you both?
A: The Villawood community, access to Club Coridale and facilities, and its superb location close to both Geelong and Melbourne.
Q: What kind of home are you planning?
A: We are building a four-bedroom single-storey house with a large, open-plan living area.
Q: Did you compare Coridale with other estates? What was the difference that worked for you?
A: Yes, we did. The reputation of Villawood as a community-oriented developer, access to Coridale’s residents’ club facilities and access to the Care Worker Support Program.
Q: Where are you living at the moment? Will Lara be close to work for both you and Sarah?
A: We are living in Waurn Ponds currently. Our work is distributed between Melbourne and Geelong so it will be the perfect location for us.
Q: Are you thinking kids at some stage? How does Coridale sit with that idea?
A: Yes, we are planning kids. It would work well with the school plan and everything – plus the access to kids playground in Coridale.
Q: How was the purchase process at Coridale?
A: It was very nice and Joshua explained everything. Overall, it was an amazing experience.
Welcome, Sarah and Aamir, thanks and congratulations for joining our Villawood family!
