From modest beginnings in 1989 developing small subdivisions in Bendigo, today Villawood Properties predominately concentrates on large scale master planned communities which incorporate a combination of mixed-use town centres, residents’ clubs, educational facilities, large display villages and the creation of high quality parks and open spaces. We understand there is much more to creating a living, breathing community than simply constructing a housing allotment, and are committed to going that extra mile to deliver vibrant communities where residents form strong and lasting relationships. With a proven track record in delivering innovative, community-focused developments, Villawood boasts a portfolio of over 50 completed residential projects.
Style without compromise. It’s something we all deserve.
And now it’s within your reach.
After three decades of building communities, Villawood Properties have created their own range of brand-new designer homes. VillaRange is a selection of intelligent residences, designed in collaboration with future-thinking architects and inspired by urban style.
Design, quality and value are at the core of Villawood’s VillaRange.
At Villawood, a sense of social responsibility is built (quite literally) into the foundations of our business. We’re huge believers in the power of community and the inherent responsibility of developers to not only foster it, but tangibly support it. It’s immensely important to us to give back to the community we’ve come from and lead the way in the future we all want to live in.
In conversation with broadcasting legend, Ray Martin, Villawood’s Executive Directors, Rory and Tony take you behind the scenes of our organisation and what matters to it most.
Melbourne’s surging property prices are making it increasingly difficult for people in the essential services to get into the market. Villawood’s Care Worker Support Program was created in 2018 so that people working in these roles can still afford to buy land in Villawood projects.
Under this initiative, purchasers who are employed as care workers who work within a 10km radius of a Villawood community that they are seeking to buy in, will be eligible for a $20,000 rebate on their block of land. Villawood devised the Care Workers Support Program so care workers may live and work in the communities they serve.

Villawood’s Rathdowne community at Wollert is one of the most attractive new greenfield developments in Victoria. This 1000-lot Wollert project is rapidly proving itself the jewel of Melbourne’s north with an ongoing torrent of sales and inquiries as its extraordinary amenity and infrastructure takes shape. Designed to set a new level of quality greenfields living, Rathdowne draws on twin streams of inspiration from Carlton’s Rathdowne Street with its chic inner-suburban lifestyle and strong migrant culture. Villawood’s Rathdowne is home to a similar tapestry of immigrant arrivals seeking new lifestyles. With its incomparable range of features, it is showing the buyers and competitors alike that premium greenfields with top-end attributes are what the market wants.

Location and amenity were key factors, so too affordability, but having all three come together as seamlessly as they discovered with the Solstice precinct in the heart of Villawood’s Rathdowne community was a watershed moment.

Residents who bought in the early stages of The Surrounds in Helensvale love the estate so much that they have convinced family and friends to follow suit, reports the Gold Coast Bulletin. Kalpana Bartaula and her partner Rajat Thakur moved in to the Villawood Properties’ community with their 22-yearold daughter in 2018, building a 237sq m single-storey home. Ms Bartaula’s brother Nawaraj Parajuli and his wife Asmita followed suit, also buying a home within the estate. Three years on and Ms Bartaula and Mr Thakur have repurchased within the estate, buying separate lots in the community’s latest stages, with plans to build bigger, custom-designed homes to accommodate for their evolving family needs
