A major environmental innovation

Before the land becomes a new community, we begin with the open canvas of a green field site, and it is from this we locate the natural public open spaces, and identify ways in which we can preserve and enhance the existing natural habitat.

Positive Change was launched by Villawood in 2008 as three-tiered approach to improving the way in which we build new communities.

The enviroSTAR program encourages buyers to build environmentally friendly homes using Villawood's 'My Wishlist'. My Wishlist is an online checklist of sustainable items that can be used to maximise the energy efficiency and water saving of their new home.

For every square metre of land purchased within a Villawood Properties estate, we will give the equal amount of land back to the people of Victoria to add into our state forests.

For every block of land sold, Villawood will donate $100 towards the purchase of land for the Good Friday Appeal Charity House Auction. Our children deserve the best treatment available anywhere in the world.
