Flying Start for Alamora

Villawood Properties’ new Alamora flagship at Tarneit has posted a flying start to its sales campaign with 44 deposits in February.

The Sayers Road project has also captured more than 50 expressions of interest from builders keen to be part of the Alamora Display Village, set to be the largest in Melbourne’s west.

Campers arrived at the Land Sales Office for each of Alamora’s two stage releases so far, reflecting the powerful interest that has already brought hundreds of families through the door.

First to purchase at Alamora were Tanjit Singh Brar, and his wife Rubina and son Jigar, who were among a dozen groups who camped out to get their preferred block.

“The response Alamora is attracting is very significant,” Villawood Chief Executive Officer Alan Miller said. “Alamora is a very exciting project for Villawood and will set a new standard for this corridor.

Prior to the sales launch, Alamora hosted more than 150 builder representatives eager to learn more about the project, its display village and Villawood’s Builder Direct.

Villawood executive director Rory Costelloe told builders: “The impact we’ve had in first couple of weeks with people coming through the sales office is everyone’s really excited that Villawood’s going to come and lift the standard of what’s happening in Tarneit and reinvigorate Tarneit as a great suburb.”

Fellow executive director Tony Johnson highlighted the enormous transition to be expected in coming years in the area, with a world-class soccer stadium/sports centre/health precinct together with a massive town centre within walking distance.

“It’s going to be very, very exciting,” he said.

Alamora is the latest of eight communities by Villawood in the City of Wyndham. With 4000 families – 10,000 people – already installed, Villawood is a clear developer of choice within the corridor.

Alamora is a sister to Villawood’s national UDIA excellence-awarded Alamanda, at Point Cook. It will host all Villawood’s signature hallmarks – an $8 million resort-style residents’ club, diverse housing choice, broad open space and parks, dynamic public art, premium landscaping and the West’s largest display village.
