Balbethan Drive & Stockwell Drive
Construction works along Balbethan Drive continue to progress strongly, with sewer and drainage infrastructure now well advanced. Significant activity is also underway on the connecting roads and ramps to the bridge. The next stages of activity include road boxing and pavement layer installation as part of the broader Balbethan Drive road upgrade.
Over Rail Bridge
Construction of the over rail bridge continues to make impressive progress, representing another milestone for the Kimberley development and future connectivity within the community. On the western side of the Kimberley site, works are advancing rapidly, with drainage infrastructure, wing walls, approach road ramps, and associated civil works all well underway. The scale of progress now visible on site is substantial, with the bridge and surrounding infrastructure beginning to take shape. Upcoming stages will focus on construction of the connecting roads and ramps to the bridge, alongside the Balbethan Drive road upgrade, including road boxing and pavement layer installation.
On the eastern side, significant progress has also been achieved with the construction of drainage infrastructure beneath the bridge, together with the substantial friction slabs and major wing wall structures that will support the large road ramps leading to the bridge. These critical structural elements represent a major engineering achievement and mark another important step forward in delivering this landmark piece of infrastructure. Upcoming works will continue with connecting roads and ramps, as well as further road boxing and pavement works associated with the Balbethan Drive upgrade.
