Cracking The Tonne At Coridale

Coridale’s 100th buyers, Josh Miller and Lauren O’Loughlin, know the virtues of Lara and getting into the market early.

At the ripe old ages of 24 and 23, respectively, they figured the time was ripe as well.

“With the money we’d been saving, we wanted to do something productive with it,” Josh says.

“We figured it was a good time to enter the market – before it got more expensive.”

Coridale’s resort-style residents’ club was a key influencing factor in their decision. As the owner of two border collies that can run all day, Josh was quick to pick up on Coridale’s broad open spaces, too.

Growing up in Lara has made Josh more than just a little familiar with the area. He has friends and family all around, and close by – his sister and her partner have bought in at Coridale as well.

“I do shiftwork in transport in Melbourne so Lara’s less than hour away. The location’s good and it’s close to Geelong too and the beach’s not far, either.”

Josh said he and Lauren, a paralegal studying law, shopped around the Geelong area before deciding on Coridale.

“We looked at Lara and few other places, like Armstrong,” he said.

“We liked the residents club at Armstrong and the club at Coridale was the main persuasion. Coridale’s a really good, upcoming community and it’s well planned.”
