In every way, Club Coridale offers resort living with a friendly, country club style.

Settle in a place with a unique past

A town with a rich history

Lara is a town with a rich history – one that’s at the heart of Coridale. A lime manufacturing industry allowed Lara to flourish and boosted the town’s infrastructure to include sites such as Elcho Homestead, a staging post that’s now an iconic heritage building. In the mid 1930s, Elcho Homestead was repurposed as a sheep stud for Corriedale sheep – the breed commonly used in Lara that lends its name to Coridale itself. Today, Coridale pays homage to local history while blossoming as a site of transformation – a place that grows and thrives with you.

Delight in a charming village

A town centre with community spirit

Just five minutes from Coridale, Lara is home to a thriving town centre with a community spirit. This local village features everything you need to make life easy, like major supermarkets, but retains its warm country charm. It’s a place where the community get to know each other, swapping tales at the local pub. When it comes to dining, Lara has a range of flavours to tempt the tastebuds, from quaint cafes and bakeries to pizza parlours, Indian and Asian restaurants. Kick back, invite your friends, and gather round while enjoying two of life’s simplest yet greatest pleasures. Good food and great company.

Discover local charms

So much to discover in all directions

If you’re looking for outdoor fun, Lara is brimming with stunning parks and green spaces. Just down the road, Serendip Sanctuary is home to 150 species of birds and native animals, a beautiful reserve where you can stroll alongside Emus and Tawny Frogmouths, or I-spy Eastern Grey Kangaroos. Further north, the spectacular You Yangs Regional Park is a great spot for hikers and mountain bikers, with over 50km of tracks for all ages. Meander through wild eucalyptus bushland before reaching views that will leave you breathless. If the catch of the day is more your thing, head south to Avalon beach where the boat ramp will set you out across Corio bay, whiting a-plenty.

Connect with the best of Geelong

Delights a plenty, for you to explore

Coridale is nestled between many of Victoria’s best-loved destinations. It’s only a 15-minute drive, or a few train stops, to Geelong, where you can enjoy soaking in the sun at the idyllic Eastern Beach. For an after-swim treat, choose between popular breweries, charming cafes and an eclectic array of restaurants. The cosmopolitan Pakington Street brims with vibrant eateries with a European, alfresco vibe. Just outside Geelong, the picturesque Bellarine Peninsula is dotted with celebrated wineries – so nestle in for a long lunch with tipples of the latest harvest. At Coridale, all the delights of Geelong are yours to explore.

Explore a world of wonders

Venture further from Coridale and you’ll find the scenic coastline of Torquay, just under 40 minutes away by car. This iconic seaside town is home to stunning beaches for everyone, from young paddlers to professional surfers. It’s also the gateway to the Great Ocean Road. If you’re searching for a more untamed activity, the Werribee Open Range Zoo is only half an hour from Coridale – for those brave enough to stare down lions and rhinos. The centre of Werribee is easily accessible by the Princes Freeway, as is the flourishing township of Ballarat. Everywhere you look, Coridale is connected to wild wonders and natural enchantments ready to be uncovered.
