Villawood Properties is again stumping up community bucks to support local groups and residents and calling for applicants to make their best pitch.
We are offering from $500 to $5,000 in grants to successful applicants to help out with their activities within the community.
So, tell us about your group or cause – we’d love to hear about the important work you are doing for the local community, and how we can assist!
We’re welcoming applications from groups including cultural, recreation, community, not-for-profit, sporting clubs and schools.
We look forward to hearing from you!
Groups must be local organisations operating for more than 12 months in one of the following areas:
Aldinga, Aldinga Beach, Port Willunga, McLaren Vale, and Sellicks Hill.
Please note, you do not have to be a sporting group to qualify, any local community group is welcome to apply.
Applications Now Open!
Friday 31st October 2025: Applications Close
Following the closing of our community grants in FY26, our team will assess all applications and contact those successful applicants as soon as possible in November. Successful groups and clubs will then be invited to the launch of the project to receive their giant cheque and promote their group/cause.
Andrews Farm Soccer Club & Cricket Club, were the very first to receive community grant funds when we first launched St Andrews. The clubs received up to $11,000 combined in community grants to assist with the supply of new player shirts and equipment. We look forward to a continued lasting relationship with the clubs.
Villawood Properties at William Lakes supported the completion of the ‘Remembering Courageous Women’ Mosaic Mural Project through the Community Grant program as it was a great initiative to be part of within the community. The beautiful mural is a tribute to women who have fallen victim to domestic abuse and has been installed within the Town of Gawler’s “pocket park”. This will be an ongoing stark reminder of the scourge of violence affecting families. You can view the first half of this beautiful Mosaic Mural at Gawler Pocket Park – Julian Terrace, Gawler.
The Community Grants initiative was launched in 2015. Since then a diverse range of charities, sporting clubs and community groups have benefited.
