William Lakes Raises The Bar In Adelaide’s North
A new 1700-lot suburb at Gawler Belt by Villawood Properties is set to open Adelaide’s growing north to a new breed of masterplanned residential living.
Meandering waterways, a resort-style residents’ club, broad open space and parks, an adventure playground together with extensive walking/cycling trails will make William Lakes a highly-sought destination says the award-winning Villawood.
William Lakes is located just minutes from the Gawler main street, with easy access via the northern expressway from Adelaide’s CBD and perfectly positioned on the doorstep of the Barossa Valley, making it a perfect lifestyle combination.
Villawood’s hallmark community focus will see William Lakes host a luxury residents’club, The Lakehouse, with a fully-equipped gym, pools, parents’ lounge, multi-purpose function space for parties and events, café/restaurant and outdoor sports court.
Lakes and wetlands will feature through the project along with walking and cycling paths and opportunities for waterfront housing. Expansive areas will be retained for open space, parks, playgrounds and waterways. A small-scale mixed-use centre beside the club will host childcare and health/wellness services.
The national developer is making its presence felt in the market since arriving in South Australia to considerable fanfare late last year, announcing a 1500-lot development at inner-suburban Oakden.
Villawood has since launched its 680-lot St Andrews project at Andrews Farm, selling quickly and underscoring the opening of Adelaide’s north as a quality, affordable commuter corridor for new home-buyers.
“William Lakes is poised to become the pre-eminent address in Adelaide’s north,” Villawood CEO Alan Miller said.
“The new level of creative design, amenity, sustainability and community – especially community – that Villawood is renowned for is rapidly changing the ballpark for greenfield projects in South Australia.
“We’re ensuring home buyers get a happier, healthier and more people-focussed lifestyle when they join a Villawood community.
“We’ve always pushed the boundaries of what can be achieved in master-planned residential communities, and William Lakes is no exception. Here, residents will enjoy exclusive membership to The Lakehouse , a signature Villawood Club offering where neighbours are met, friendships are made and a considered space for total health and wellbeing is on offer.
“And with Gawler township only a few minutes away, you can savour a day of indulging in good eats and shopping or enjoy the surrounding postcard Barossa wine region before returning home to a peaceful retreat.”
Mr Miller said Villawood’s fully-SA team comprised some of the best project designers and managers in the state.
“We’re very proudly South Australian and very keen to raise the bar for new residential housing,” he said.
“In addition to William Lakes, St Andrews and Oakden, we have several more projects we believe will do exactly that – raising the value for money and lifestyle of new home buyers. So stay tuned, these are going to be exciting times for the South Australian property market.”
