A Grand Opening to Remember!
Another Villawood South Australian Project is now officially on the map with the Grand Opening of William Lakes in Gawler Belt on Saturday 22nd October!
The day started with a Welcome to Country and smoking ceremony, performed by Indigenous Elder Moogy, followed by the official ribbon cutting by Alan Millar, Villawood CEO and Tony Piccolo MP.
It was great to see so many from the local community turn up for the day which had lots of free activities including a petting zoo, coffee, face painting, touch a truck for kids, charity BBQ, baseball pitching tent, free games and prizes!
Four community groups successful in their applications for grant assistance and cheques were presented by Alan and Tony, each group attended and was excited to take part in the event.
