At Villawood, building new communities goes beyond creating homes — it’s about supporting the local groups and causes that make our neighbourhoods truly thrive.
Our community grants program is one way we give back and stay connected with the people who bring our developments to life.
We were thrilled to present our FY25 Community Grant sponsorships to this year’s successful recipients at our recent event:
A big thank you to everyone who applied, and congratulations to all our incredible community partners making a difference every day. FY26 grants will open mid 2026, stay in touch for updates.
2025 Applications are now closed.
Villawood Properties at William Lakes supported the completion of the ‘Remembering Courageous Women’ Mosaic Mural Project through the Community Grant program as it was a great initiative to be part of within the community. The beautiful mural is a tribute to women who have fallen victim to domestic abuse and has been installed within the Town of Gawler’s “pocket park”. This will be an ongoing stark reminder of the scourge of violence affecting families. You can view the first half of this beautiful Mosaic Mural at Gawler Pocket Park – Julian Terrace, Gawler.
Villawood Properties at William Lakes supported the Gawler Eagles Football Club with new sporting gear for all 23 juniors teams including two new girl teams. The club is very grateful for Villawood’s support and is keenly watching Villawood’s two developments north and south of Gawler.
The Community Grants initiative was launched in 2015. Since then a diverse range of charities, sporting clubs and community groups have benefited.

Another Villawood South Australian Project is now officially on the map with the Grand Opening of William Lakes in Gawler Belt on Saturday 22nd October! The day started with a Welcome to Country and smoking ceremony, performed by Indigenous Elder Moogy, followed by the official ribbon cutting by Alan Millar, Villawood CEO and Tony Piccolo MP. It was great to see so many from the local community turn up for the day which had lots of free activities including a petting zoo, coffee, face painting, touch a truck for kids, charity BBQ, baseball pitching tent, free games and prizes!

A new 1700-lot suburb at Gawler Belt by Villawood Properties is set to open Adelaide’s growing north to a new breed of masterplanned residential living. Meandering waterways, a resort-style residents’ club, broad open space and parks, an adventure playground together with extensive walking/cycling trails will make William Lakes a highly-sought destination says the award-winning Villawood.
