Phase 2
Bridge Planning & Engineering Approvals
Once the project has been approved, Bridge specific engineering, landscaping, electrical, gas telecommunication plans are lodged for approval with the relevant authority. Construction can begin once approval is received

Phase 3
Bridge footings and abutments
Machinery is brought onto site to prepare the site for construction access to remove existing soil, rock and start shaping the land to allow for the new bridge footings and abutments. Where required, clean fill (dirt) is brought in or excess material removed, ensuring required levels are met for construction

Phase 4
Bridge Deck Construction
Once the bridge footings and abutments are complete, large custom designed beams are installed that span the length of the bridge to allow for the concrete bridge base to be poured.

Phase 5
Sewer and Water Reticulation and Drainage
Once the concrete bridge base is complete the first services are installed including sewer, water and drainage pipes.

Phase 6
Kerbs, Electrical & NBN
Further services are installed including electricity and telecommunications (internet). Road kerbs begin to be formed.

Phase 7
Bridge barriers, Footpaths and Road Sealing
Road layers commence construction on top of the concrete bridge base, beginning with subgrade through to asphalting. The bridge starts to look in it’s final stages, with footpaths and nature strips created.

Phase 8
Completion and Inspections
Final touches are now underway including the topsoiling of grass areas, ready for upcoming authority inspections. The subdivision is checked to ensure it complies with the approved design plans. Once all the boxes are ticked, Council issue a Statement of Compliance (SOC).
