Dylan Cheyne Selected for Australian Boomerangs Squad

Sunbury Basketball Association is thrilled to announce that, Dylan Cheyne, has been selected for the Australian Boomerangs squad that will compete at the 2025 Virtus World Championships!

Dylan’s basketball journey started with Rebels Basketball Club, then saw him progress to representing Sunbury Jets in VJBL competitions and, more recently, playing BigV for the Sunbury Basketball Assosciation Youth league and Championship men’s teams.

Earlier this year, Dylan represented Victoria in the Ivor Burge National Championships, helping The Vics to take away the gold.

The next major event for the Boomerangs players will be Ivor Burge Championships in late 2024 and then on to the Virtus World Championships in 2025.
