Immortalising Geelong Legend Frank Costa
Geelong philanthropist/produce king and Cats legend Frank Costa has been immortalised in the centre of his home town.
A statue of him as a 13-year-old paperboy has been unveiled at the T&G Corner where he started his entrepreneurial career.
The statue was the brainchild of Villawood’s Rory Costelloe, and brought to reality with the support of the City of Greater Geelong, the Geelong Football Club and the Costa family.
It was unveiled by Cats superstar Joel Selwood, Robert Costa and Geelong Mayor Trent Sullivan in front of Frank’s wife Shirley and family.
