Congratulations to our successful FY25 community grant applicants!

At Villawood, building new communities goes beyond creating homes — it’s about supporting the local groups and causes that make our neighbourhoods truly thrive. Our community grants program is one way we give back and stay connected with the people who bring our developments to life.

We were thrilled to present our FY25 Community Grant sponsorships to this year’s successful recipients at our recent event:

  • Willaston Football Club
  • South Gawler Netball Club
  • Gawler Stobie Pole Mosaics – hosted by Gawler Community House Inc

A big thank you to everyone who applied, and congratulations to all our incredible community partners making a difference every day.

Gawler Stobie Pole Mosaics – hosted by Gawler Community House Inc

Having sponsored the group a few years ago for the ‘Remembering Courageous Women’ mural, we were eager to provide support again for this next project. Public art transforms ordinary places into vibrant cultural hubs, encouraging community engagement and fostering a sense of identity. The sponsoship funds will support the completion of the Gawler Mosaic Stobie Pole Project and means GSPM can now create mosaic artworks for 11 stobie poles along Gawler Tce near Dead Man’s Pass.

Willaston Football Club

The Women’s and Girls teams have grown so rapidly within the last couple of years which is fantastic, while the club has 4 strong women’s teams, Under 10s, Under 13s, Under 16 and Senior Women. The funds will assist with purchasing new training equipment specifically required by the girls/women’s teams, as well as to provide much-needed feminine hygiene disposal units for the toilet blocks in their player changerooms and clubrooms. The club does not currently have this facility, so providing these will improve the experience not only for their female players in creating a more inclusive environment, but also for the wider community who use our facilities.

South Gawler Netball Club

Our grant will provide crucial support to not only their members, but also the wider community looking for a place to play sport and expand our skills as a club and services/coaching support. The funds will go towards development of equipment for junior netballers and umpires along with replacing additional balls & equipment to ensure they have the best possible equipment to continue to be a well developed and successful club.
A big thank you to everyone who applied, and congratulations to all our successful applicants. FY26 grants will open mid 2026, stay in touch for updates.
