On the 27th of February 2023 The South Australian Jockey Club announced the partnership between the Club, Villawood Properties and Hostplus to develop parts of the Morphettville Racecourse and surrounds.

The development will be on land between the racetrack’s home turn and Anzac Highway including high-quality housing and apartments, commercial, specialty retail and community spaces.
