The Residents Club is the heart of the Community.
Outdoor movie nights, giant family fairs, Christmas parties, entertainers, fun kids’ events – Villawood brings its communities real community connections. Residents’ clubs, financial grants and sponsorships for local groups and charities, and excellent designer-made open spaces, playgrounds and parks for parents and kids to socialise, play and make friends.
Track and trails, cafes, gyms, family spaces and function centres are all part of the Villawood difference that builds life-long ties and friendships. Real communities with real community ideals in action.
We build when we say we will and take pride in our work.
How long before you can start to build? Time to title with Villawood is generally 12 months or less. This is much quicker than the industry standard. Other developers sometimes see title times extend to 2 or 3 years. Villawood’s reputation for on-time delivery, built over more than 30 years, allows its customers to feel confident they will be able to build – and move in – in a reasonable and predictable time-frame.
Developing communities are often disrupted by civil and building works around them. Villawood is realistic and practical about this, with continuous development checks and maintenance crews keeping its communities safe and clean during construction. Simply look around at some of the competition and you will see the Villawood difference.
While there are often unexpected issues with construction we always try and deliver what we promise and take pride in our work.
Alamora is investing in extensive open space, parks, wetlands, dynamic public art, smart design and cutting-edge water use.
Villawood prides itself on great parks and playgrounds – such as the Pirate Ship park at Alamora, in Point Cook, and the Bunjil’s Nest park at Armstrong, in Mt Duneed near Geelong. We think parks should be fun and interesting, a place to take your children to and let them enjoy and play, a place to meet the family at and a place to walk or exercise in.
Public artwork is a signature feature that makes Villawood communities not only stand out from the rest but also highlight a sense of place based on the area’s natural flora and fauna. Artist Folko Kooper has fashioned hundreds of beautiful eagles, cockatoos, pelicans, parrots, birdhouses, kangaroos, emus, flowers – everything from hybrid bird-biplanes to stiletto heeled shoes. His works are chiefly corten steel but he also uses galvanised steel, polyethylene, polycarbonate, glass, perspex, bluestone – even barbed wire. The works are nature-based, whimsical, fun and much-loved by Villawood residents.
Great design, amenity close by in all our communities.
Masterplanned communities such as Villawood’s are very different to the cookie-cutter offerings in too many greenfields estates. Villawood’s expert urban designs provide for varied lot sizes – salt and peppering – to build interesting and aesthetic neighbourhoods that bring different people together.
Lifestyle and convenience are front of mind in our designs with great amenities built close to all precincts. Villawood’s urban designs have earned numerous industry awards including best masterplanned and best residential development in Australia. Once again, it’s the Villawood difference that makes all the difference.
We have a positive approach to the environment.
Villawood believes true sustainability starts with the community. Our imperative is to build strong, self-sufficient communities on every level: environmentally, energy-wise, socially and recreationally as well.
We have built the most water- and power-efficient community in Australia. We have 7-star precincts in our masterplanned communities to power bill savings while helping the planet.
We are committed to community growth, sustainability, environment enhancement, new technologies and social responsibility. Villawood also donates a block of land to State forest for every residential block it sells – 580 hectares, or 1450 acres, to date.
