Early designs for a new train station in Melbourne’s western growth corridor have been revealed. Tarneit’s yet-to-be-named second station will be near Davis and Leakes roads and will include two platforms with an accessible pedestrian underpass for crossing the rail line. The station will include a four-bay bus interchange, and a road will be built off Leakes Road providing access to 400 carparks.

A fantastic display of light, colour, dance, fireworks, music and food was shared on Saturday night, as 800 guests celebrated Diwali together under the Feronia Park big top at Villawood's Alamora, Tarneit community.

Villawood’s Alamora Diwali celebration was a resounding success, with more than 800 mums, dads, kids and grandparents enjoying a fantastic array of light, colour, dance, fireworks, music and food under our Feronia Park big top at Tarneit. The second Diwali festivity at Alamora, people loved the henna tattoos and face painting, the fire twirling and floodlights, sand art and stage steam blasts, Bollywood and belly dancing.
