Everything we’ve built is a tribute to the great Australian dream. Our willingness to reach for the stars and give this ‘a real crack’ has seen us grow from a small, regional project group to a major developer across Victoria, New South Wales, South Australia and Queensland.
Our story begins in the late 1980s when a young group of friends came together to develop residential subdivisions in and around Bendigo. They were ambitious but not foolhardy, moving purposely but cautiously into the world of residential development. Their combined engineering, legal,
accounting and real estate agency backgrounds proved to be the magic
mix.
Throughout the 1990s, and the 2000s, Villawood continued to expand, establishing flourishing communities far and wide. We kept lifting the bar by incorporating unique amenities and features in our communities such as public artworks, community intranet, swings for disabled children, giant slides, environmentally friendly wetlands, sporting ovals and Residents’ Clubs. By 2006 we had became one of Australia’s Top 10 developers.
Today, we’re proud to have helped over 6,000 families establish a new home in one of our communities. We also look to the future with great optimism, as our current land bank contains over 19,000 lots Australia-wide. That means more Australians who will get to lead a rich, fulfilling and connected life in a Villawood community.
