Villawood injects funds directly back into each of its communities through neighbourhood art programs, family fun days, school engagement programs, sponsorships and many other fun activities. When reviewing applications for our community grants, we often select smaller groups who may struggle to attract funding.
Project Sprout is an amazing initiative by Encompass Community Services in Geelong.
It creates employment pathways for people living with a disability by developing practical, social and job-ready skills through farm work at The Paddock in Geelong.
Many of Geelong’s top chefs choose fruit and vegies grown at the project to supply their restaurants.
Community Grants are awarded to groups or organisations that are local to our communities and have been operating for more than 12 months. Grants are generally between $500 and $1,000 and awarded by individual projects.
