Villawood Properties’ primary commitment is and always will be delivering communities that put the families who live there first, right from the outset.

We have become aware that in the current property market, where there is an unprecedented demand for land, some unscrupulous practices are taking place which disadvantage young families hoping secure a new home at a fair price.  These activities include hoarding lots for the purpose of profiteering and the transfer of contracts without properly disclosing the profits.

Nominations

Villawood Properties does not condone these practices and is taking steps to prevent further instances by changing its contract nomination clauses.  For all new contracts from 30 May 2017, the following changes have been made for land sales within Villawood communities:

  • Purchasers will only be allowed to buy one lot per person, per release
  • Purchasers will only be allowed to nominate a substitute purchaser to settle (at Villawood Properties' discretion) from their immediate family

These changes apply to all new contracts signed from 30 May 2017. Existing contracts will proceed as signed and it is our expectation that all new residents will act in good faith, joining the thousands of Australians who are proud to live in Villawood communities.
